Publishing at JAMBU
The JambuMCJ welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications across various disciplines. Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines for manuscript submission.
Manuscript Categories
JambuMCJ accepts the following types of submissions:
- Research Articles – Original research with significant findings.
- Review Papers – Comprehensive summaries of existing research in a particular field.
- Case Studies – Real-world applications and findings from specific cases.
- Short Communications – Concise reports on novel research findings.
Manuscript Preparation
- Title Page: Include the following
- Title
- Author(s) name, and their affiliation(s),
- Corresponding author details,
- Acknowledgment and Funding source
- Authors should list all funding sources. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their funding source designations.
- Conflict of interest statement
- All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research, analysis, or interpretation of findings presented in the manuscript. This includes:
- Financial Interests
- Personal or Professional Relationships
- Other Competing Interests
- If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should include the following statement:
"The authors declare no conflicts of interest related to this work."
- Failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in manuscript rejection or retraction.
- Authors’ ethical statement
- “We confirm that this manuscript is original, unpublished, and complies with ethical standards. All authors contributed significantly, with necessary approvals obtained. Data integrity is upheld, sources cited, and conflicts of interest disclosed. We take full responsibility for its submission to JambuMCJ.”
- Permission to reproduce material from other sources (if any)
- Abstract: A concise summary (200-300 words) highlighting the research objective, methods, key findings, and conclusions. Avoid using references and figures in the abstract.
- Keywords: Provide 4 to 6 relevant keywords.
- Main Text File: Structured into the following:
- Introduction,
- Study area (if required)
- Methodology
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
- Figure and Table captions

Author(s) should follow the latest edition of APA style in referencing. Please visit apastyle.orgto learn more about APA style- Citations in the Text:
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Avoid citation in the abstract. Unpublished results and personal communications should not be in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text. Citation of a reference as 'in press' implies that the item has been accepted for publication. - Reference List:
References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters "a", "b", "c", etc., placed after the year of publication. - Examples:

- Citations in the Text:
- Subdivision of the Article
Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1, 2. (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc. The abstract is not included in section numbering.
- Figures & Tables: Clearly labelled and cited in the text. Figures should be included in the main file just below the relevant text. Also, provide the figures as a separate file and ensure the file includes the figure number and captions positioned below the figure for clear and easy identification. Figure should be provided in high-resolution
- Photographs/Image (Color or Grayscale): Save images in TIFF, JPG, or PNG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. For a single-column layout, the minimum width should be 1063 pixels, and for a full-page width, a minimum of 2244 pixels.
- Line Drawings (Bitmapped): Submit line drawings in TIFF, JPG, or PNG format with a minimum resolution of 1000 dpi. The required width is 3543 pixels for a single column and 7480 pixels for a full-page width.
- Mixed Images (Line Art + Photographs in Color or Grayscale): Files combining line drawings and halftones should be saved in TIFF, JPG, or PNG format at a minimum resolution of 500 dpi. The width should be at least 1772 pixels for a single column and 3740 pixels for a full-page width.
- Tables
- Tables should be part of the main document and should be placed within the text. If the table is created in excel the file should be uploaded separately.
- Tables should be supplied as editable files, not pasted as images.
- Legends should be concise but comprehensive.
- All abbreviations must be defined in footnotes.
- Additional Files (supporting information) (if any):
- This information provides a detailed depth and background of study. This may include figures, tables, videos, datasets, etc.
- Graphical Abstract (if any): Authors are encouraged to submit a graphical abstract that visually summarizes the key findings of their article. It should be a concise, pictorial representation designed to engage a broad audience and enhance the article's accessibility.
Formatting Guidelines
- To ensure consistency and adherence to academic standards, all submissions must follow the Modern Language Association (MLA) 9th edition.
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
- Use Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial, 12 pt, double-spaced text with 1-inch margins.
- Line number should be added in the manuscript.
- Manuscripts should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length (excluding references)
- The abstract should be between 200 and 300 words.
- Citations and references should follow APA, Harvard, or IEEE style as applicable.
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX) or LaTeX (PDF format for review).
Submission Process
- Submit manuscripts through the online submission system using the following link (journal.clujammu.ac.in)
- Include a cover letter that outlines the significance of the work and confirms its originality.
- Authors should suggest at least three potential reviewers (optional).
Peer Review Process
- The journal follows an anonymized review process.
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review for quality and originality.
- Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
- The final decision (Accepted/Rejected/Minor or Major Revisions) will be communicated within a stipulated time frame.
Publication Fees
JambuMCJ follows an open-access model. Any applicable article processing charges (APCs) will be communicated to authors upon acceptance.
